Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Her first appearance was in the year the year 201. She was a part of a small role in Home and Away. The casting agent wished to cast her in one of the leading characters. Although she did try out for the role, she was not chosen. The role was instead set in the show as Cassie Turner, a struggling girl living in foster care. She was praised by both the public and critics for her portrayal.
